Media : LISTEN: Bill Carter teams up with Johnny Depp To Cover Springsteens State Trooper

The world of film and music collided today whenBill Carter teamed up with Johnny Depp, Mike Thompson from The Eagles, and Bruce Witkin to give us the instrumentally charged cover of Bruce Springsteen's "State Trooper."

Contrary to The Boss' calmer more acoustic "State Trooper," Carter (guitar and vocals), Depp (lap slide), Thompson (keys) and Witkin (bass) have made sure to go out with a bang in their cover: putting in a lot more instruments and giving it an eerie, yet bold feel to it with bass drums, tambourine appearances and harmonica front and center.
