Johnny Depp's Bodyguards Attack Woman at an Iggy Pop Concert

At least that's what 52-year-old Robyn Ecker would have us believe after her run in with the Pirates of the Caribbean star at a recent concert. Ecker, who was treating her husband to a night out at the Palladium in L.A. to see rock icon Iggy Pop perform, happened to find herself seated next to Depp. Unfortunately, what should have been a fun star-sighting in the VIP section turned out to be hazardous to Ecker's health.

According to a police report Ecker filed after the show, Depp's bodyguards aggressively tackled her to the floor when they thought Ecker danced too close for comfort. Ecker went to the hospital to get herself checked out after reportedly sustaining lasting injuries from the alleged confrontation with Depp's muscle.

There are conflicting reports as to Ecker's sobriety at the time of the incident, but when you're at a Stooges show, being intoxicated is practically a requirement, and it's no excuse for an overreaction from a star's bodyguard team made up of dudes that have to be much bigger than Ecker. Johnny Depp has yet to comment on the police report or the alleged altercation.
