Johnny Depp's bodyguards 'tackled disabled woman'

Johnny Depp's bodyguards are being sued for allegedly injuring a disabled woman during a concert.

52-year-old Robyn Ecker was attending an Iggy Pop gig in Los Angeles on December 1 for her husband's birthday when the incident occurred, according to TMZ.

Depp and his entourage are said to have sat nearby Ecker - who reportedly suffers from an unspecified handicap - when she danced too near his table.

Ecker claims that the actor's bodyguards then jumped on her without provocation and wrestled her to the ground before she checked herself into a hospital for injuries.

Police spokesmen have apparently revealed that Ecker appeared to be highly inebriated when she filed her report.

Johnny Depp recently revealed that he almost died in a plane crash while shooting his film The Rum Diary.
