Johnny Depp, who is famed for his weird and wonderful range of interests, yesterday enjoyed some downtime with the Comanche Indian tribe, of which he's an honorary member.

The megastar managed to keep a low profile at the 21st Annual Comanche Nation Fair in Oklahoma, thanks to the tribe's lack of publicity surrounding his appearance. He served as a Grand Marshall in the tribe's parade, keeping a low profile until word began to spread that he was in the area.

According to a video obtained by TMZ, Depp rode in a black Mustang convertible with red stripes, waving and smiling to his fans and wearing a western-style cowboy hat. He kept with the tribal theme by wearing a long-sleeved white button down shirt, teamed with a vibrant vest.

Guards surrounded the vehicle as it slowly made its way through the hundreds of screaming fans. The narrator of the video begins to scream as the Pirates Of The Caribbean star comes towards her, exclaiming:

Johnny Depp is coming down the roadright nowat this momentin timeAh..I can see him! I can so see him."

Depp was named an honorary member of the tribe back in May, partly due to the fact he is playing Tonto in the upcoming "Lone Ranger" movie.

He's been enjoying his freedom since splitting from Vanessa Paradis...
