Johnny Depp links ink to tragedy
Johnny Depp told The Associated Press that he and Damien Echols, the man he helped free from Arkansas death row, now share a bond forged by matching tattoos.
Its one of my all-time favorites, Johnny said, motioning to the area on his chest where the ink resides. It means quite a lot to me.
Damien and two other defendants were falsely accused of murder in 1993. Dubbed the West Memphis Three, they came to prominence after being featured in the documentary Paradise Lost. Johnny, Henry Rollins, Natalie Maines and Eddie Vedder all contributed to the trios legal fees to help them get out of prison.
Hes become like a brother to me, said Damien, who designed the tattoo they both share.
No one is quite sure exactly what the tattoos look like, but we are guessing Pruno Forever was off the table.
Right-wing pundit Glenn Beck has now made several claims on his radio show that he was treated like a subhuman on a recent American Airlines flight. Oh dear.
Did someone get two bags of peanuts while he only got one? Glenn says the flight attendant slammed down his soda can and didnt open it and pour it into a glass like he did for everyone else. The attendant also barked out breakfast and plopped down the food instead of politely asking what the radio host wanted to eat.
The whole event seems to have shaken him to his core, and he has gone on about it for more than two days in a row even saying he will boycott the airline.
They mean Liberal American Airlines, apparently, he said.
You heard it here first: American Airlines will be Glenn Beck-free. Make your reservations now.QUICK TAKES
