Johnny Depp Plans To Settle In Hollywood With Or Without Vanessa Paradis

Johnny Depp's habit of buying new homes have got tongues wagging yet again, and now just weeks after reportedly purchasing a UK home, the actor has bought a new Hollywood mansion.

'The Rum Diaries' actor has bought a new home and its surrounding properties in the Hollywood Hills, and he doesn't know whether he'll be sharing it with his partner Vanessa Paradis yet.

Depp has had a studio built and he hopes to spend more time in the studio, as well as focusing on his own record label.

A source has told Showbiz Spy: Johnny owns a few properties but hes investing a lot of time and money into his new Hollywood home in a bid to settle there."

The couple have often spent time in France away from the limelight, so Hollywood is a bold move by Depp, and the insider continued: Whether thats as a single man or with his family is not clear yet. But what is obvious is how much time hes going to dedicate to music.

Earlier this year, we reported that the actor was unsure whether to attend the upcoming Oscars because of the issues with Vanessa.

Johnny feels he cant win, an insider close to Depp has said. If he turns up with Vanessa it just looks like they are trying to make a point of being seen together while if Johnny goes on his own it furthers the rumours. Johnny is now unlikely to go to the Oscars at all.
