Johnny Depp to revive Edward Scissorhands role on Family Guy

Edward Scissorhands may get another chance to convince Kevin to play Rock, Paper, Scissors.

EW.comreports that Johnny Depp will reprise the Frankenstein-like role he made famous in Tim BurtonsEdward Scissorhands on an upcoming episode of Family Guy. The recently divorced star is set to make a brief cameo in one of the shows signature cutaway gags.

Depp, who reportedly watches the show with his kids, has already recorded his part in the upcoming episode. According toFamily Guyexecutive producer Mark Hentemann, it took the worlds most highly paid actor a couple of takes to recall the character he last played in 1990.

When he was in the booth,he said that he felt like he hadnt done that voice since he did it in frontof the camera, Hentemann told EW.

And the slew of women salivating over him at the Family Guy office probably didnt help Depps concentration.

He was able to snap right back into Edward Scissorhands once we pulled up a clip from the movie. He was amazing and demonstrated extraordinary patience with all the fawning women in our office who swarmed him.

Family GuySeason 11 premieres September 30 on Fox and Global.
