JOHNNY Depp has reportedly flown to ex Vanessa Paradis in the south of France to try and salvage their relationship.
The Sun is reporting that the Pirates of the Caribbean star gave the model/singer an antique gold pendant bearing the message My heart is always with you.
The pair, have two children together, Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, nine, but announced last month they had amicably separated after 14 years together.
The couple never married, however it was said the 39-year-old singer would receive around 100 million pounds ($150.5 million) from Depp, 49, who is said to have a net worth of 200 million pounds.
Depp was reportedly in a relationship with his Rum Diaries co-star Amber Heard, 26, but it is believed they have now called time on their fledging relationship.
The Sun said Depp and Paradis were staying at the actors 4 million pounds home in Plan de La Tour.
They are having a family holiday to show the kids they are still a strong family even if those two are split or not,'' a source told the paper.
But the fact he presented her with such a touching gift, its almost as if they could make another go of things. Johnny wants to be with his family, hes a very family orientated man. His kids mean everything to him.
What they need more than anything is to get together far away from Hollywood and that is what they are doing.
Depp has another week before he is due back in New Mexico, US, to continue filming The Lone Ranger.
