Johnny Depp performs with Aerosmith, Alice Cooper - again (Videos)

Johnny Depp continues to perform with the rock band Aerosmith and shock rocker Alice Cooper.

The 49-year-old actor joined the group on stage at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday to perform a cover of the Fleetwood Mac song "Stop Messin' Around." Depp, wearing his trademark hat, rocked out on electric guitar as Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry took over the vocals. He also joined the group for a performance of the Beatles song "Come Together."

Depp had also performed with Aerosmith at the band's concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in August.

Depp, a longtime musician who once co-owned the legendary Los Angeles rock club The Viper Room, provides background vocals on the Aerosmith song "Freedom Fighter," a track on the group's new album "Music from Another Dimension!" that also features Perry singing lead vocals.

Last Thursday, Depp rocked out with Alice Cooper for the third time, at the rock star's gig at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. He joined the singer and his band for a large part of their set, performing "Break on Through (To the Other Side)," a Doors cover, the Beatles song "Revolution," Jimi Hendrix's "Foxy Lady," The Who's "My Generation" and the Alice Cooper songs "Poison," "I'm Eighteen" and "Under My Wheels."

Depp had performed with the singer in London in June 2011 and at the after party for his 2012 movie "Dark Shadows" this past May (see photos).

And the actor will perform with Alice Cooper for a fourth time. A message posted on the rocker's official said Depp will join Alice Cooper on stage at his Christmas Pudding Charity Concert in Pheonix on Dcember 8.
