Johnny Depp rocks with Alice Cooper

Monday Dec 3 2012

Johnny Depp fans were in for a treat when the actor made a surprise appearance on stage with Alice Cooper.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor - a keen guitar player - joined the rock star on stage at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles and the pair played several covers, including The Beatles' Revolution and Foxy Lady by Jimi Hendrix. Photos show Johnny, clad in a dark shirt and a feather-adorned cowboy hat, smiling as he performed.

A source told People: "Johnny was in great spirits. He was really happy and at ease, especially on stage with the rest of the band."

The star, who recently split from long-time partner Vanessa Paradis, attended the concert by himself.

Johnny has played the guitar on many songs, including Oasis' Fade In-Out, and has appeared in videos for songs such as The Lemonheads' It's A Shame About Ray and Into The Great Wide Open by Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers.
