Rebecca Hall is set to appear in a big-budget blockbuster alongside Johnny Depp and she admits sharing screen time with the Hollywood hunk is a dream come true.

The 30-year-old actress has previously shared screen credits with the likes of Dominic West, Jeremy Renner and Christian Bale, but she admits working with Depp on the new sci-fi epic is as good as it gets.

I am thrilled about working with Johnny. I mean come on! I feel like I've worked with some seriously great actors and he's one of those ones on my list of people that I'd really like to work with, she said, according to Yahoo Movies.

While little is known about Transcendence the directorial debut of Oscar-winning cinematographer Wally Pfister it's understood that Depp will play a character who gets sucked into a malevolent computer akin to Hal, the all seeing eye from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

I could tell you lots about it but I don't thnk I want to, said Hall. I haven't started yet so I am feeling a bit protective towards it. I'm in the early stages of working out who the character is and what I'm doing with it. I am excited! ."

According to Empire magazine Christopher Nolan will co-produce the picture, which will have a similar tone to his 2010 smash, Inception, when it goes on general release in 2014.
