What is there to see at this years Palm Beach International Boat Show?

Dane Graziano has spent the last 30 years in the boat show business, and in that time, hes seen this weekends extravaganza become the fifth biggest show in the U.S. It rivals shows in Cannes and Morocco, said the COO and senior V.P. at Show Management.

Its proof the economy is rebounding, Graziano said. People are buying luxuries again and the downtown West Palm Beach waterfront show has boats of every price and size.

When I walked the docks yesterday, I was amazed at the mix of boats, truly something for everyone, Graziano said.

If youre going to gawk at the blinged-out mega boats, here are a few tips:

(bullet)How about The Montage? This 80-foot motoryacht has sleeping room for six people and goes up to 21 knots. Its sort of affordable, if you have $3.49 million, its listed sale price by Worth Avenue Yachts.

(bullet)Looking for a little celebrity bling? You can rent Johnny Depps yacht, Vajoliroja, for $130,000 a week in season. Its a 156-foot yacht with a cruising speed of 12 knots and has room for 10 of your celeb friends. And a crew of eight. Capt. Jack Sparrow rides in style.

(bullet) The biggest boat on display? The Kismet, at 223 feet. It cruises at 14 knots, sleeps 12.

To add flavor to the show, Graziano says, exhibitors are enhancing their displays. Earlier this week, cranes were lifting three $100,000 Rolls-Royce automobiles onto a barge that will tie up in the Intracoastal.

If you want to take a break from examining boats, Graziano promises three days of really great entertainment.

It includes talks by fishing experts, Saturday and Sunday fashion shows at the Meyer Amphitheatre, a food court, three floating cocktail barges with live entertainment and Saturday and Sunday kids fishing clinics.

You cant do this by yourself, said Graziano, who claims the show has a $92 million economic impact. I have a great team. I think its the most beautifu! l show in the world.
