Johnny Depp promotes new movie in Japan
Hundreds of screaming fans have swamped superstar Johnny Depp, as he landed in Japan to promote his latest film, Dark Shadows.
Mr Depp arrived to more than 700 screaming fans at Narita International Airport, east of Tokyo.
Some fans dressed up in full costume waitingly patiently for hours to see the eccentric actor.
Mr Depp did not disappoint fans spending 30 minutes signing autographs, giving handshakes and even a few hugs.
Dark Shadows is Mr Depp's eighth Tim Burton movie and is based on American television between 1966 and 1971.
The premier took place in the city's Roppongi Hills Arena.
