Vanessa Paradis: Having my man Johnny Depp perform alongside me on stage was so special

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have been together for 14 years

Vanessa Paradis has some special memories from the 14 years she's spent with partner Johnny Depp.

Near the beginning of their relationship, the couple had the opportunity to take to the stage with pop legends Iggy Pop and Chrissie Hynde in Vanessa's home country of France.

'In 1999, we performed a cabaret show in Paris, doing songs by Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra and Nina Simone,' says Vanessa, 39.

'Johnny played guitar. That was such an exciting night.'

Both Vanessa and Johnny, 48, are musically inclined - Vanessa released her debut single Joe Le Taxi at the age of 14 while Johnny played lead guitar with rock singer Marilyn Manson at last month's Golden Gods Awards in LA.

But the pair have the most fun when they get to showcase their talents together.

'To have my man alongside me made it even more special,' Vanessa tells Live.

'Definitely one of the highlights of my career.'
