Johnny Depp's Lone Ranger budget out of control
Johnny DeppThe slashed budget of the star's new movie is said to be once again on the rise.
After all the fuss Johnny Depp had to go through to get his Lone Ranger project up and running, you think he would have at least tried to keep in line with his budget and shooting schedule.
According to new reports the film is now spiralling out of control, with a budget heading back up to $250 million, a price tag which nearly saw the whole thing go under back in August last year, and as well as that it seems that Disney are demanding a number of script rewrites.
The figure of $250 million has been denied by Disney, but a source on the production commented, Its up to a figure they did not want.
Director Gore Verbinski is known for letting his films get massively over-budget from his work on the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and it seems that the only way Disney can think of cutting back his outlandish costs is to have large chunks of the script altered.
The source continued, It's out of control, but if you were going to bet on anyone, it would be on Gore, Johnny andJerry[Bruckheimer]."
