Johnny Depp 'Still Not Over Kate Moss Romance'

Johnny Depp might have split with girlfriend of 14 years Vanessa Paradis earlier this year, but according to insiders its his romance with Kate Moss, who he dated for four years in the 90s that he is struggling to get over.

The secretive model recently opened up about her romance with the smouldering hunk, which ended in 1998 and claimed she cried for years over the split in an interview with Vanity Fair. It wasnt just Kate who struggled with the split, those close to the Pirates of The Caribbean actor claims he never really got over how their relationship ended.

"Back in the '90s, Johnny never took responsibility for how the split broke Kate's heart," a source told Look magazine.

"Their life was about parties and alcohol-fuelled antics, and Johnny moved on before he even had time to mourn their relationship."

According to insiders her confession touched Johnny forcing him to get in touch with the now married star to apologise for ever hurting her.

"When Johnny heard this it really made him sit up and take notice," the source added.

"He had no idea how much he hurt Kate all those years ago, so he gave her a call out of the blue. He mainly wanted to say sorry."

Depp has previously admitted he wasnt a good match for the fashion icon.

"I was not good for Kate," he told the MailOnline in 2007, "but she's a strong girl and a great girl and very smart."

Depp split with his partner of 14 years Vanessa Paradis in June. Despite reports of a romance with his Rum Diaries co-star Amber Heard, Paradis has claimed no-one knows the truth about their split, and because of her family, she would never sell her personal life.
