Super dad Johnny Depp calls in One Direction to surprise his daughter
Music lover and devoted dadJohnny Deppis said to haveinvited British pop sensationsOne Direction to his LAhome sohis daughter could meet the band. Lily-Rose, 13, is sucha huge fan of thefamous fivethat her dad Johnny arranged for the chart toppers to swing by hishome recordingstudio.
Press Association reports that after discovering the groupwere in town, the Sweeney Todd actor "made a few calls", and thatthe star couldn't resist joiningin their exclusive set. "He brought out his piano and guitars for the boys to test and they had a little jam session," the source added.

Whilst Johnny may be a superstar to the rest of the word, Lily-Rose was not so impressed when her dad joined music's hottest stars. The teenager apparently "watched with her blushing mates while her dad temporarily joined the world's biggest boyband."
Lily-Rose is Johnny's daughter by his partner of 14 years Vanessa Paradis. The pair sadly split back in June, but have tried to keep their separation as amicable as possible. As well as their teenage daughter, whose full name is Lily-Rose Melody Depp, the couple also have a 10-year-oldson, John ChristopherDepp III.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star has made no secret of his musical ability. Johnny has previously joined rockers Alice Cooper and the Black Keys on stage during their shows, andfor his friendDavid Furnish's 50th birthday he provided a musical serenade for the guests.
One Direction are currently stateside promoting their new album Take Me Home.Niall,Harry, Zayn,Louis and Liam appearedon The Ellen DeGeneres show causing a stir amongst the audience members.Harry revealedhis latest tattoos - a pair of birds on his chest. When asked about themhe told the 54-year-oldchatshow queen:"I just like them, they're kind of like, sailor-y... about, like, travelling. Birds fly. We fly a lot."
Irish-born Niall knew just how tofire upthe female fans in the audience when asked about his taste in women. "I like someone that's cute. Someone that I can have a laugh with. And I also like people that are American. And you all qualify!" he said, prompting a wave ofexcited screams. Harry confirmed his taste in older women when he joked to Ellen: "I just think someone fun. It helps if they're nice, someone like you."
